Chalcedony, Jasper,Bloodstone with Pyrite. A very nice batch of RARE Swaziland blood stone which is mined in a very remote and difficult area to gain access too! The material is a brecciated chalcedony material with specular inclusions of Pyrite with red "Drop Stone" jasper in a greenish-grey and often clear matrix. This deposit is no longer mined and old school batches of rough come up from time to time. Known to be a very rare crystal only found in Swaziland, Africa. This piece would make a wonderful addition to any crystal/mineral family. Swaziland African Bloodstone is a sight to behold, not at all like your run of the mill bloodstone. This bloodstone is much more translucent, especially when polished and is more of a conglomerate of different minerals having pyrite in some pieces.
