Deep Blue Kyanite 16g

Kyanite is typically a blue aluminosilicate mineral, usually found in aluminum-rich metamorphic pegmatites and/or sedimentary rock. 

Our crystals are sources from the Karoi deposits of Zimbabwe which occur in fissures often filled with black mica. The crystals are mostly small to medium in size with less than 5% of the deposits yielding larger specimen grade crystals.

Kyanite is a very sought after stone type for jewelry making and in the alternative market. Zimbabwe kyanite has a rich blue color of which gem clarity is variable.
