Pastel-Lilac Vera Cruz Amethyst Twins on Druzy Calcite, 18 g

Two glass-clear Vera Cruz amethyst prisms rise like lavender candles from a mound of sparkling cream-tan calcite and quartz druse.

Las Vigas amethyst is famed for its ethereal colour and razor clarity, and this palm-sized miniature captures both. The larger crystal (31 mm) leans gracefully at 35 °, exhibiting textbook steep rhombohedral terminations, internal “candle-stripe” zoning and mirror lustre. A second, gemmy sidecar crystal (15 mm) accents the base, while dozens of micro quartz/calcite rhombs dust the rhyolitic matrix, flashing in even modest light. Delicate hematite inclusions impart wisps of violet that graduate to colourless tips—classic Vera Cruz aesthetics. No repairs; only minor pocket clay in recesses.
