Blue-Lavender Fluorite on Barite “Desert Rose” with 7g

Sale price$65.00

Dimensions: 123 mm x 81.7 mm x 46.1 mm

A baby-blue fluorite cube blushed with violet phantoms rests like an iced petal on a buff-tan barite “desert-rose” rosette.

This thumbnail (TN) balances colour and form in pocket-fresh perfection. The fluorite crystal (8 mm on edge) shows stepped, mosaic growth and ghost-purple zoning that deepens at one corner, a signature of Huanggang’s fluorine-rich fluids. Its silky lustre and semi-transparency contrast against the sculptural barite rosette—stacked, calcite-pseudomorphic blades that mimic wind-carved gypsum roses. A sprinkling of micro pyrite dust on the reverse attests to the sulphidic environment that nurtured the barite burs. At only 7 grams, it is an ideal competition thumbnail—no repairs or polishing.

Unraveling the Beauty and Rarity of this Blue-Lavender Fluorite on Barite “Desert Rose” with 7g

Huanggang’s cobalt-to-violet fluorites typically form as isolated cubes; finding one perfectly poised on an aesthetic barite rose is rare. The subtle phantoms and silky translucency invite close-up photography—ideal for Instagram and competitive TN displays.
