From the legendary rutile pockets of Novo Horizonte comes this 46-gram miniature featuring five intergrown quartz prisms that rise like cathedral spires from a common base. The crystals grade from near-colourless cores to a delicate tea-smoke at their terminations, providing the perfect backdrop for hair-fine acicular rutile. Most needles lie parallel to the c-axis, yet a few spray outward to create subtle starbursts when the piece is rotated. Terminations are sharp and lustrous with only minor edge rubs; prism faces display faint “bread-crust” growth patterns and occasional rainbow sheen in healed fractures. A single pale-hematite phantom adds extra interest near the base. Completely natural—no polishing or repairs.
