Pagoda Calcite. This is a structural, aesthetic specimen of multi-generational Calcite, with elestiated crystals and phantom hematite growth giving a reddish hue to the golden crystals. These “Pagoda” clusters are from a newer find in the Tonglushan mine in Hubei, China.
This graphic “pagoda” growth habit is characterized by stepped layers and multiple layers (generations) of calcite growth.
