Translucent Elbaite Tourmaline, variety watermelon tourmaline crystals (named because they have a pink center surrounded by a green outer zone) with small brown lepidolite crystals. The largest crystal is unterminated and the smallest crystal is terminated, both shows the pink core when viewed on end or from the sides.
Elbaite is a mineral species belonging to the six-member ring cyclosilicate tourmaline group. Elbaite forms three series, with dravite, with fluor-liddicoatite, and with schorl.
